China-Singapore Mutual Visa Exemption to Start on February 9
On January 25, 2024, representatives of the governments of China and Singapore signed the Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on Mutual Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passports. The agreement will officially come into effect on February 9, 2024. At that time, ordinary passport holders from both countries can enter each other’s country without visas to stay up to 30 days. Those intending to engage in activities that require prior approvals, such as working or news reporting in the other country, or planning to stay for more than 30 days, must obtain the respective visas before entering.

China-Thailand Mutual Visa Exemption to Start on Mar 1
On January 28, China and Thailand signed in Bangkok a mutual visa exemption agreement, which will come into effect on March 1, 2024.
